Supporting the Development of In-House Software Talent Through DIG, Toyota’s Company-Wide Transformation Initiative

Toyota Motor Corporation launched DIG (Digital Innovation Garage) in October 2021 to internally develop software for customers and employees using agile methodologies. To ensure that the Toyota Group can continue contributing to society and industry for the next hundred years, DIG is driving company-wide transformation through two key initiatives: the development of advanced digital solutions that can only be realized through in-house software development, and the cultivation of talent capable of delivering such solutions. As of May 2026, DIG has grown to approximately 200 members. As one of DIG’s partner companies, Bekind Labs supports talent development through hands-on product development, working alongside Toyota teams to build solutions together.
