Can you tell us about your career so far?
In Japan, I worked as a designer across various industries, including Yahoo! JAPAN, PayPay, and BCG. During my time at BCG, I became deeply aware of how culture influences productivity.
When talented people come together in an environment that encourages openness and positive challenge, that’s when a team truly achieves its best results. That belief has become the foundation of my work philosophy.
After that, I joined a startup in Korea, where I led product design from the early stages. Being involved directly in shaping and growing a product allowed me to feel the impact and fulfillment of my work more closely.

Why did you decide to join Bekind Labs?
While I was working in Korea, I heard about a new challenge from Heewon, the founder of Bekind Labs. I still remember being struck by his sincerity and warmth — I immediately felt, “This is someone I can truly trust and work with.”
What convinced me to join was the team’s deep commitment to culture. It’s not just about gathering talented people — it’s about creating an environment of transparency and trust, where everyone feels safe to express their thoughts. That healthy atmosphere naturally draws out creativity.
What also impressed me was how diversity isn’t treated as a policy — it’s simply part of everyday life. With members from different countries and backgrounds, everyone respects each other’s perspectives and communicates naturally beyond language or cultural barriers. In that effortless diversity, I saw the ideal way of working.

Through that process, design becomes less about creating something by yourself and more about thinking and nurturing ideas together. The most rewarding moments are when my output helps move the team’s thinking forward.
