More than 10 years ago, we came to this place with the desire to spread the advanced software development culture and methodologies we had cultivated in Silicon Valley to Japan and Asia.
That vision began at Pivotal Labs , was passed on to Tanzu Labs
, and now it has started anew under a new name , Bekind Labs .
Our name may have changed, but the philosophy at our core remains the same.
In fact, it has become clearer and stronger.
What kind of team is Bekind Labs?
Bekind Labs is more than just a development outsourcing company.
We become a team with our clients, working together as a partner
from problem identification to design, development, and release .
Ultimately, our goal is to establish
an independent product development team and culture within the client's organization.
The main methods we use are as follows:
User-centered design (UCD)
involves identifying the real problems that need to be solved through user observation and interviews.
We develop a lean startup
hypothesis and evolve the product through rapid testing and learning.
Extreme Programming (XP)
leverages TDD, pair programming, and continuous integration to achieve both quality and speed.
Our balanced team of
PMs, designers, and engineers collaborate across boundaries, working towards a common goal.
These are not merely technologies; they are our culture itself .
We practice and share this culture together with our clients on-site.
The changes we have created
Bekind Labs has collaborated with many companies in Japan and South Korea to help them achieve
fundamental digital transformation .
In particular, in a collaboration with a major manufacturing company,
we have conducted multiple intensive 6-month programs, training more than 200 product development professionals
to date .
They are now core members of the company, driving change from the ground up.
Our goal isn't simply to create a "good product." It's
to leave behind a "good team" and cultivate a culture where continuous learning and growth are possible .
